Papaki celebrates 20 years of service with new products for Greek businesses

Papaki announced an impressive new range of products for individuals and companies during an event celebrating its 20th anniversary, held on October 23 in Athens. The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Digital Governance Mr. Konstantinos Kyranakis, executives from leading companies and organizations in Greece, partners, and journalists. The event was moderated by Mr. Vasilis Vasilopoulos, journalist and Data Protection Officer (DPO) at ERT S.A. and AMNA.

In his opening address, Mr. Kyranakis described Papaki as “an absolute success story” and congratulated the company on its journey. The announcements that followed marked a new era for Papaki, the country’s No.1 domain registrar. Mr. Nikos Stouiloudis, Commercial Director, introduced new services including online brand protection, consent management (GDPR plans), an influencer marketing platform, an updated range of website and WordPress hosting products, as well as advanced hosting solutions for demanding applications with Virtual Private Servers, Managed Bare Metal Cloud Servers, and Acronis backup services. Alongside expanding its portfolio, Papaki will refresh its user management environment and its website.

The driving force behind this growth is the company’s vision “to make digital business easy,” as highlighted by CEO Mr. Efthymios Chrysikos during the event.

One of the standout offerings is online brand protection, a service not widely developed in Greece, with Papaki stepping in to fill this gap with its innovative services. In the era of AI and rapid technological advancements, businesses need brand protection that aligns with their security agenda, as pointed out by Ms. Mònica Sorribas, Legal & Brand Protection Manager, and Ms. Alazne Lete, IP Legal Counsel, of team.blue. Furthermore, Papaki is the first company in its sector in Greece to address the equally complex and constantly evolving issue of compliance, essential both for legal and security purposes. These issues were further highlighted during the event by Papaki’s DPO Mr. Konstantinos Kakavoulis and Legal Advisor Ms. Elpida Vamvaka.
